Description
Painted in plein air at Chalk Hill Vineyard, Sonoma County.
Chalk Hill Vineyard is a beautiful Vineyard. It has rolling vineyard hills from the beginning of the vineyard to the hills in the background. The vineyard gets its name from the chalk white soil under the vines. This was painted in late summer when the vines are and full and lush.
You can see the time was late afternoon bt the cast shadow from the tree on the left. Painted on location as most of my painting are.
