Artist's Description
There are not many places to park on Tomales Bay, This spot is only big enough for one car and is on a sharp curve with cars that sometimes speed thru. Normally I would be looking to the left where there are a few homes on the water and a restaurant. Today however, I looked down on the shore and this sail boat had been ditched on the shore. I couldn't ask for a better subject. I painted Tomales Bay in the back ground with no other sail boats etc. to further set the stage for this forgotten sail boat all alone on this large but calm bay. It was a beautiful and quiet resting place for this sail boat.
