I had to stand on a cliff with a very steep drop off to paint this one. Around 3:30 every afternoon the wind races in. The gusts that come in are cold and strong enough to turn your painting into a sail. With one finger from my left hand I held the canvas to the easel while painting with my right hand . That was how the last twenty minutes was spent painting " WINDY DAY " . It makes for a great memory.
