Description
Painted on location. I wanted to paint a large plein air painting of a vineyard this day. Calistoga has some great vineyards with many varied landscapes. This vineyard is a view of the East side with a more desert like mountain range while the West Side of Calistoga has mountains well treed with oak and redwoods. The clouds formed over the mountain as they usually do in the late afternoon.
