The point in the background is Duncan's Landing. This painting was painted from a pull over immediately south of Duncan's Landing. It was the time of year when the wild flowers were out. There is a circular one way one lane drive that goes all the way around the rock out crop in the center of the point. people can climb the rock and walk or drive the circumference of the point. In this painting you can see people doing both. Painted on location.
